All Porcelain Inlays
and onlays are two types of fillings used in back teeth. Inlays fill
cavities which restore strength and stability to damaged teeth. They are
molded to a precise fit and have a very realistic appearance. Onlays cover
the entire surface of the damaged tooth and are used when a tooth is too
decayed for regular fillings or inlays. When doing inlays or onlays the
cavity of the teeth is prepared and a precise impression is taken , this
impression is sent to the laboratory and a porcelain structure is
fabricated , this structure is then cemented to the teeth .
